Family tree offers a feature to record important events in your family members life. To create a new event, find the appropriate family member's details. In the events part of the screen (located at the bottom), select a type for the event. If you would like to create a new event type, type the new entry in the drop down box. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to create a new event type. Press 'Yes'. Enter the date of the event. To include a picture of the event, click in the event picture box. A standard locate file box will appear, from which you can select your picture. To view a picture for an event click on the view icon next to the picture location box. Finally enter a description of the event. A new blank event entry will appear into which you can enter more events.
